Home & Community Based Treatment (HCT)
The Home & Community Based Treatment Services (HCT) program provides short-term, intensive, in-home family counseling
services to families of children or young adults up to the age of 21, experiencing challenges with family communication,
parenting, sibling issues, aggression, etc. HCT is able to support the identified client and the entire family.
Treatment is geared toward goals pertaining to:
- Family communication
- Non-compliance and oppositional behaviors
- Avoidant behavior
- Running away
- Aggressive behaviors
- Grief and/or loss
- Instability in the home
- Family Support (including parenting education and sibling relationships)
HCT services are provided by a clinical team of a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Professional and a Behavioral Health
Professional (BHP). The average length of treatment is usually six to nine months, but can vary based on client and family needs.
