Rehabilitative and Community Support Service
Rehabilitative and Community Support Service is a home-based service utilizing resources in both the home and community environment.
We provide support in developing and building upon basic functional life skills of children and young adults up to the age of 21, who
have been diagnosed with a developmental and/or behavioral health diagnosis.
Areas in which the Section 28 Program can help children build and develop functional life skills include:
- Self-Care & Hygiene Skills
- Safety Awareness Skills
- Fine & Gross Motor Skills
- Communication Skills
- Social & Relationship Development Skills
- Understanding Emotions
- Coping Skills
- Independent Life Skills
We encourage family involvement in the Section 28 Program in order to provide consistency in building and developing skills with children and young adults.
Section 28 services are provided by a professional team of a Community Support Supervisor (CSS) and a Community Support Worker (CSW) with a BHP Certificate.
